Cancellation Policy – Golden Route India

To ensure transparency and a smooth booking experience, please review our cancellation policy carefully before confirming your tour with Golden Route India.

Cancellation by the Guest

If you wish to cancel your booking, the following charges will apply:

  • 30 days or more before arrival – 10% of total tour cost (administration fee)

  • 15–29 days before arrival – 25% of total tour cost

  • 7–14 days before arrival – 50% of total tour cost

  • Less than 7 days before arrival – 100% of total tour cost

  • No Show – No refund

All cancellations must be made in writing via email.

Cancellation for Same-Day / Short Tours

For Same Day Tours (Taj Mahal, Agra, Jaipur, etc.):

  • 48 hours before tour date – 25% cancellation charges

  • Less than 48 hours – 100% cancellation charges

Refund Policy

  • Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 7–14 working days.

  • Bank charges / transaction fees will be deducted from the refundable amount.

  • Refunds will be made through the same payment method used for booking.

Monument Tickets & Special Services

  • Monument entrance tickets once booked are non-refundable.

  • Train tickets, flight tickets, and safari bookings follow their own cancellation rules.

  • During peak season, festive periods, or special events, separate cancellation policies may apply.

Cancellation by Golden Route India

Golden Route India reserves the right to cancel a tour due to:

  • Natural disasters

  • Government restrictions

  • Unavoidable operational issues

In such cases, guests will be offered:

  • An alternative date, OR

  • A full refund (excluding third-party non-refundable services)

Amendments & Date Changes

  • Date changes are subject to availability.

  • Price differences (if any) must be paid by the guest.

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unexpected cancellations, medical emergencies, or travel disruptions.
