Cancellation Policy

At Golden Routes India, we understand that travel plans may change unexpectedly. To ensure transparency and a smooth booking experience, please review our Cancellation & Refund Policy carefully before confirming your booking.

Cancellation by the Guest

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email.

The following cancellation charges will apply:

– More than 45 days before arrival: 10% cancellation charge

– 30–45 days before arrival: 25% cancellation charge

– 15–29 days before arrival: 50% cancellation charge

– 7–14 days before arrival: 75% cancellation charge

– Less than 7 days before arrival or No Show: 100% cancellation charge

Any non-refundable charges imposed by hotels, airlines, train operators, safari authorities, monument authorities, or other suppliers will be deducted from the refund amount.

Cancellation for Same-Day & Short Tours

For Same-Day Tours and Short Excursions (including Taj Mahal Tours, Agra Tours, Jaipur Day Tours, and similar services):

– More than 48 hours before the tour date: 25% cancellation charge

– Less than 48 hours before the tour date: 100% cancellation charge

Refund Policy

Eligible refunds will be processed within 7–14 working days from the date of cancellation approval.

Refunds will be made through the same payment method used for the original booking whenever possible.

Please note that the following services may be wholly or partially non-refundable:

– Monument entrance tickets

– Domestic or international flight tickets

– Train tickets

– Safari permits

– Hotel cancellation penalties

– Visa fees

– Bank charges and payment gateway transaction fees

– Any third-party service booked on behalf of the traveler

No-Show Policy

Failure to arrive for a booked tour, transfer, hotel stay, or other travel service without prior notice will be considered a No Show, and no refund will be applicable.

Amendments & Date Changes

Requests for changes to travel dates, itineraries, accommodations, or other confirmed arrangements are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

Any increase in supplier costs or seasonal price differences must be borne by the traveler.

Golden Routes India will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requested changes but cannot guarantee availability.

Cancellation by Golden Routes India

Golden Routes India reserves the right to cancel or modify a booking due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

– Natural disasters

– Floods, earthquakes, or severe weather conditions

– Government restrictions or travel advisories

– Political unrest or civil disturbances

– Pandemics or public health emergencies

– Transportation disruptions

– Operational or supplier-related issues

In such circumstances, guests may be offered:

– An alternative travel date,

– A comparable alternative service, or

– A refund of recoverable amounts received from suppliers.

Golden Routes India shall not be liable for any additional expenses incurred by the traveler, including airfare, visa costs, travel insurance, or other personal expenses.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering:

– Trip cancellation

– Medical emergencies

– Personal accidents

– Lost or delayed baggage

– Travel interruptions

– Emergency evacuation

Travel insurance can help protect against unforeseen circumstances that may result in financial loss.

Force Majeure

Golden Routes India shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, terrorism, government actions, pandemics, strikes, transportation disruptions, or other force majeure events.

Governing Law

This Cancellation & Refund Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to bookings, services, or this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India.

Changes to This Policy

Golden Routes India reserves the right to amend, revise, or update this Cancellation & Refund Policy at any time.

Any changes will become effective immediately upon publication on the Website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
